Field Service software

Field Service Management Software for On-Site Teams

Xolro builds custom field service software for installation, repair, and maintenance businesses: job scheduling, on-site quotations, invoicing, technician tracking, and service contracts.

Field service businesses lose money in the gaps between the office and the site — a quote that takes two days to send, a technician who arrives without the right part, a job that was finished but never invoiced. Custom software closes those gaps by putting the job, the quote, and the invoice in the technician's hand on site.

Who it's for

Who we build field service software for

  • Electrical, plumbing, and HVAC contractors
  • Solar, CCTV, and appliance installers
  • Facility maintenance and AMC providers
  • Pest control, cleaning, and repair services
The problem

Where the time and money go today

The operational problems field service businesses most often bring software in to solve.

Quotes sent days after the site visit

Measurements are noted on paper and turned into a quote back at the office, by which time the customer has asked two competitors.

Jobs scheduled by phone

The office calls each technician to hand out jobs, and nobody has a live view of who is where or what is running late.

Work done, never billed

Extra materials and small add-on jobs are agreed on site but never make it onto the invoice.

AMC renewals and service visits missed

Annual maintenance contracts and scheduled services live in a spreadsheet, so visits are missed and renewals lapse.

What we build

Field Service software modules

A custom build includes only the modules you need, and can start with one and grow.

Job scheduling & dispatch

A dispatch board that assigns jobs by skill, location, and availability, and sends each technician their day on their phone.

On-site quotations

Quotes built on site from your own rate and material lists, with photos, sent to the customer as a PDF or WhatsApp link before the technician leaves.

Technician mobile app

Job details, checklists, photos, customer signatures, and materials used — working offline where the signal is weak.

Invoicing & payments

Invoices generated from the completed job, GST-ready, with UPI payment links so customers can pay on the spot.

AMC & service contracts

Contract tracking with automatic visit scheduling, renewal reminders, and a service history per customer site.

Parts & van stock

Stock per van or technician, materials consumed per job, and reorder alerts so technicians arrive with the right parts.

Integrations we commonly build

  • UPI payment links and gateways
  • WhatsApp Business and SMS
  • Google Maps and location services
  • Tally and accounting software
  • GST invoicing
  • Google Calendar
Before you build

What we plan for from day one

Technicians are the users that matter most

If the app slows down work on site, technicians will go back to paper. We keep the technician app to the fewest possible taps and test it with your team in the field.

Offline is a requirement, not a feature

Basements, rooftops, and rural sites have poor signal. Job details, quotes, and checklists need to work offline and sync later.

Location tracking needs clear rules

Tracking technicians during working hours helps dispatch, but it is personal data. We make tracking visible, limited to work hours, and covered by consent.

How we handle the data you share with us is set out in our DPDP data protection notice.

Our Process

Our software development process

Four stages take a requirement from first conversation to software your team uses daily — with something reviewable at the end of each one, so scope and cost never drift quietly.

01

Discovery

We map your workflows, users, and goals before any code is written, so the requirement is clear and the scope is realistic.

02

Planning

We turn those requirements into a technical plan, user flows, and interface designs you can review and correct before development starts.

03

Development

We build in reviewable stages, testing each release against the agreed requirements so you see working software early, not only at the end.

04

Support

We deploy, watch how the software is used in practice, and keep refining it as your volumes, team, and priorities change.

FAQ

Field Service software: common questions

What is field service management software?

Field service management software coordinates work done at customer sites: scheduling and dispatching jobs, giving technicians job details on their phone, capturing work completed, and turning it into quotes and invoices. It usually also tracks service contracts and parts.

Can technicians create a quotation on site?

Yes. Technicians can build a quote from your rate cards and material lists, attach photos, and send it to the customer before leaving the site — which is often the difference between winning and losing the job.

Does the technician app work without internet?

Yes. We build the technician app to work offline for job details, checklists, photos, and quotes, and to sync automatically once a connection is available.

Can it manage AMC contracts and service reminders?

Yes. The software can track annual maintenance contracts, schedule the service visits they include, remind customers before renewal, and keep a service history for each site.

Is this related to your Quotation and Wire Mate apps?

They come from the same understanding of how field work runs. Our Quotation and Wire Mate apps are ready-made tools for individual tradespeople; a custom field service system is built for a business with its own team, rates, and processes.
